其取代Leybold 早期的leybold NC1/14 , Leybold HE1600 PFPE OIL, 但可以與之混用，Leybold LVO 400 PFPE oil 適用用于Leybold Trivac BCS Vacuum Pump, Leybold Ruvac Roots Vacuum Pump, Leybold Sogevac Vacuum Pump等

LEYBONOL PFPE oils are synthetic oils which are only composed of carbon (C), fluorine (F) and oxygen atoms (O). The existing C-O and C-F bonds are highly stable.

For this reason PFPE oils are practically inert against all chemical and oxidising influences and have a high thermal stability.
Perfluorinated polyethers are used when pumping strongly reactive or oxidizing substances like oxygen, ozone or nitrogen oxides as well as reactive substances like halogens or hydrogen halide.
